What We Collect

Settle collects the information you provide when creating an account (name, email), financial profile data you enter (income, credit score, etc.), and documents you upload for AI analysis. We also collect basic usage data to improve the product.

How We Use It

Your data is used solely to provide personalized real estate guidance through our AI assistant. We analyze your documents to extract key facts, deadlines, and insights. Your financial profile helps us tailor affordability calculations and advice to your situation.

Document Security

All documents are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Documents are stored in AWS S3 with server-side encryption. Only our AI processing pipeline accesses your documents — no human reviews them.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (AWS for infrastructure, Clerk for authentication, OpenAI for AI analysis). These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

Your Rights

You can export or delete your data at any time from your account settings. When you delete your account, all personal data, documents, and conversation history are permanently removed within 30 days.
